Patos X - 071215 - Vejbystrand

Krister turned up at Ola's place with time to spare before the departure time 14.00. A few minutes before 17.00 Anders arrived in a haggled rental Golf (2800 kr became 1500 kr) and we rolled south. TomTom guided us - warning us with a "moo!" whenever we came close to any religious building - and the estimated time of arrival was at midnight. We stepped into the summerhouse just after half ten, as we were a bit faster than law abiding citizens are supposed to - and as the navigator was on summertime... We read, slept, biked, cooked and played games.

Book 21 - "Män som hatar kvinnor" (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) by Stieg Larsson (2005)
Anders 1 - I was upset when turning over the leaves in this book. Populistic dung about computers and sex. Pulled itself together in the end and thereby earning the rating of one.
Ola 1 - Very readable, easily digested, predictable, insignificant and commercial dung - Yes. A good book - No.
Krister 2 - It doesn't get any better than this, in swedish... Not!
Average rating 1,33

Book 22 - "Loop" by Koji Suzuki (1998)
Anders 4 - A fine bunch of thoughts around what is reality. A masterpiece until the crap about "the ring" appears...
Ola 4 - Pleasant existential reflections whose favourable taste is ruined a bit by the too long ring reference.
Krister 4 - This is how it can be. And it probably is.
Average rating 4

Book 23 - "The Emperor's Children" by Claire Messud (2006)
Anders 4 - A classic that gradually lose tempo, and when Booty is discovered it is a flop. Rating is a four due to the comment on page 463.
Ola 4 - A well-written trifle giving the reader a glimpse into the lives of a few people during extraordinary circumstances that may put the perspective on edge.
Krister 3 - It is a shame that she can't keep it together in the end, the bugger...
Average rating 3,66
