Book 24 - "Amberville" by Tim Davys (2007)
Anders 4 - Brutal cuddly toy version of The God Delusion. It doesn't hold up all the way, but he is a rookie - maybe... The illustrations is a plus.
Ola 5 - Not many swedish books beats this story full of nuances, where gravity and public debate as well as the philosophy of religion gets dressed down. A lot of things can happen in a cot.
Krister 5 - Neatly written. Neatly illustrated. It will be a blast to read the sequels. And I agree with the preceding speakers point by point.

Book 25 - "All the Names" by José Saramago (1997)
Anders 3 - Gooddam Paul Auster wannabe. Hard as a brick the first third, but then he loses the thread. The shepherd is nevertheless brutal. Shorten it 50 pages and it could have been a fiver...
Ola 3 - A qualitative writer with faultless language and stilistics, but I never became one with the book - despite the fact that it felt as if he had all the ingredients for a masterpiece.
Krister 3 - Tragic that such a talented author doesn't manage to keep it together. The first two thirds was splendid.

Book 26 - "The God Delusion" by Richard Dawkins (2006)
Anders 5 - "Isn't it enough to see that a garden is beautiful without having to believe that there are fairies at the bottom of it too?"
Ola 5 - The fact that one actually can be both intelligent and religious is an enigma to me... Everyone ought to read this book. Period. At least Anders and Krister should find the stamina to actually read through it all... "I am a deeply religious non-believer"/Einstein.
Krister 5 - Self-evident for an atheist like myself, but it ought to - and shall - be read in schools. I get more and more furious every day about the religious and the liberties they take. PS: The book in itself is not that good...
