28th of march Patos celebrated John's 34th anniversary together with other good friends of his - we drank Laphroaig in the pub AG in Stockholm...
31st of march there was a memorial service for John in Silverdals Chappel, Stockholm - 136 persons attended.
6-10th of april a group of people (including Patos) went from Stockholm to Zermatt. We missed our flight, eventually got there in the middle of the night and started drinking heavily - Laphroaig, The world's most richly flavoured Scotch whisky. We may have skied some too.
9th of april the three remaining members of Patos brought a welded box made of iron, with the inscription "John's Book Exchange", to the spot where John started what was to be his very last run down the slopes. We saluted John, wearing war paint made from the ashes of the clothes John wore when he left us, talked and cried and somehow lost the notes about the two books below (we think the notes may be found inside one of the books, that we left in "John's Book Exchange" - if you happen to find them please get in touch).
Book 8 - "The Brooklyn Follies" by Paul Auster (2005)
Book 9 - "Norwegian Wood" by Haruki Murakami (1987)
