We had booked a table at Bar Brooklyn, but the place was so shabby that we ate at Barbro (Hornstulls local provider of Asian Cuisine) instead – in the bar. After a few fresh beers and a bunch of small dishes we walked to Debaser and saw David Ritschard play live – fantastic swedish south of south country...
In the middle of the concert, someone in the audience fainted. It wasn't Ola, who had left his seat to feel the atmosphere in front of the stage for a while.
As the next meeting will be held in about two weeks, Krister had purchased three copies of Neil Gaiman's "How The Marquis Got His Coat Back" – 58 pages to read until we meet soon again.
"We remain here my friend
We are then, now and then
And we'll meet soon again"
(David Ritschard)
Book 63 - "Underskottet" by Daniel Sjölin (2022)
Krister 4 - A brilliant AI who condemns humanity. With a fantastic language. "How does a language actually die?"Ola 1 - One of the most boring books I've read. The language is like barbed wire. Brilliant as a host for Babel, dead as a writer, for me...
Anders 4 - 7 in its rage and condemnation of humanity. But 1 as part of the delivery of contempt for mankind. I give it 4 but would never ever recommend this book to anyone.
Average rating - 3
